In 2009 two Sadler 32s and two Sadler 29s joined forces to hold the first SSOA Rally on the West Coast of Scotland. Members met at Ballachulish and enjoyed a couple of days sailing in Loch Linnhe and visits to Glencoe. A pontoon BBQ was very successful and the warm weather was a great bonus. A formal meal ashore 'launched' the new branch and we were pleased to be joined by members arriving by car. Full report in the next newsletter.
No formal event has been planned for 2010, but a trip to Plockton in September is a firm possibility, thanks to a local member.
